Averiguar que versión de Windows contiene un medio de instalación

 Si queremos saber que versión o versiones de Windows contiene una llave USB o cualquier otro medio instalador, lo podemos averiguar ejecutando en una consola con permisos de administrador desde la carpeta /sources el siguiente comando

DISM /get-wiminfo /wimfile:"install.esd"

Si el anterior comando no funciona deberemos usar este otro:

DISM /get-wiminfo /wimfile:"install.wim"

Borrar carpetas vacías con robocopy

Con el siguiente comando podremos borrar carpetas vacías en Windows. Para windows XP o versiones antiguas habría que instalar robocopy ya que si no recuerdo mal no viene de serie. Había un kit de aplicaciones para servidores o algo así. Ya si os interesa lo buscáis. Que para eso está google.

ROBOCOPY nombrecarpeta nombrecarpeta /S /MOVE

Este comando en realidad lo que hace es mover a una carpeta con el mismo nombre sin tener en cuenta las vacías. A efectos prácticos las borra.

Migrar la configuración de Syncthing de un equipo a otro

Para mantener la misma configuración de Syncthing en un nuevo equipo o una nueva instalación deberemos copiar los siguientes archivos desde el directorio de configuración original, al mismo lugar en la nueva instalación. 

• config.xml
• cert.pem
• key.pem . 

La ruta por defecto donde podemos encontrarlos por ejemplo para la versión portable de SyncTrayzor sería:
\SyncTrayzorPortable-x64\data\syncthing

No debemos copiar la base de datos que se localiza en una carpeta del tipo "index-vX.XX.X.db"

Posteriormente y antes de ejecutar deberemos actualizar cualquier ruta de carpetas que pueda haber cambiado en config.xml. Esto es recomendable hacerlo, bien cuando esté todo sincronizado o en caso contrario con la máquina de destino "en blanco" para que todo se sincronice con ella desde el principio.
